The setting is another Bible study of 3, Lydia – a wealthy merchant. Marcus – a former soldier who is good in faith after witnessing the horrors of war.  Priscilla – a skilled tent maker and supporter of the community.  They are reading the teachings of Paul.  It calls us to ne active in our faith. That our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit.  It urges a renewal of our minds. To trust the Lord completely.

This is preceded in CH 11 where God is now accepting the Gentiles, as a rebuke to the Jews who had gone against his word. It highlights God s plan to include ALL people in his grace.
