17th Day of Lent, March 9, 2026Lamentations 3:22-23

A passage which reassures believers that, despite suffering or past failures, Gods compassion is renewed daily providing hope, comfort and encouragement.

Lamentations was authored by Jeremiah and was written in the aftermath of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Babylonians in 586 BC. These verses mark a shift from grief to hope.
