18th Day of Lent, March 10, 2026Ephesians 2:4-5

This passage reminds us of the incredible depth of God’s love and grace towards us.  Despite our imperfections and shortcomings, Gods love for us is unwavering and unchanging. A love so powerful that it can save us from our sins and change our life.

This book is a letter from Paul, again in prison, basically for Jew and Gentile to get along and learn God’s ways together. Today, we feel unworthy and want to earn Gods love and acceptance. But the verse says God’s love and mercy are not dependent on our actions.

This takes place AD 60 where the church of Ephesus is in Asia Minor (today’s Europe).
