26th Day of Lent, March 19, 2026 – John 12:23-25

The passage is saying let go of earthly desires and pursue a greater purpose of eternal life.  Jesus continues to work on the disciples to understand his teachings. A seed falls to earth and dies in order to produce much fruit.  He is saying, this is me. and teaching a lesson on death and life in the way you are living your life. An example, a young professional who gives up a lucrative career to serve in a non-profit organization, initially perceived as a loss, their sacrificial decision eventually yielding profound impact, positively influencing numerous lives.
