30th Day of Lent, March 24, 2026John 8:2-11

This passage shows the Pharisees and religious leaders interrupting Jesus by presenting a woman caught in adultery. It was a trap where they told Jesus that the Law of Moses commanded stoning. They wanted to see if Jesus would contradict the Law by not punishing her.

Jesus took a moment, then challenged them with , “those without sin cast the first stone.” The accusers, convicted by their own consciences, left one by one. This left Jesus alone with her; “I dont condemn you. Leave and sin no more.”
It invites readers to consider their own attitudes toward sin and judgement. It’s a powerful example of Jesus’ teachings on love, forgiveness and the importance of not judging others.

Today, picture yourself as a manager or a parent – how would you handle a similar situation? Can you forgive and support someone in your life, just like Jesus? How will you be that source of love and understanding?
