33rd Day of Lent, March 27, 2026 – John 1:1

The Word in this verse is Jesus. It shows the importance of Jesus in the creation, his closeness to God and his importance of revealing God in flesh when coming to earth. All this pertinent as we enter the Holy Week. This verse target both believers and non-believers. John wants to ensure that we understand Jesus as the one who provides light in a dark world.
