Philippians 4:6-7

This passage says that life can be filled with anxiety and uncertainty, but it encourages us to turn to God rather than allowing ourselves be consumed by fear and worry. Paul is in prison in Rome, around AD 60-62.

He writes the letter to the church in Philippi, a town with a lot of Gentiles battling Roman culture, bit they supported Paul financially and spiritually, prayed for him. He told them, with conflicting cultures, to stand fast with God.

It’s a clear message to let go their anxieties and not ley them to control them. Approach God with attitude of gratitude, to shift our focus from our problems to Gods faithfulness.
