4th Sunday in Lent, March 15, 2026Isaiah 53:3-5

Isaiah is speaking to a crowd in Jerusalem. Several would stop to listen to him as he usually delivered powerful messages from God. This passage is part of The Suffering Servant songs in the Book of Isaiah. It describes a figure who suffers on behalf of others. That the Messiah will experience human pain and sorrow, and in the end will die, but mankind will receive good things.

Today, we can find comfort and peace in knowing Jesus understands our pain and promises healing if we keep your eyes fixed on Him.
