5th Sunday in Lent, March 22, 2026Mark 4: 37-41

In the Sea of Galilee, the miracle serves to deepen the disciples’ understanding of Jesus’ divine power to calm the storms of life.   For us, when facing a storm and praying for a remedy, we think Jesus is asleep when we get no answers, yet this shows Jesus is aware, He is with us and alongside us.

Maybe the not-so-obvious lesson, Jesus  was just as much in control and the disciples were safe, even while Jesus was asleep.
