19th Day of Lent, March 11, 2026Romans 5:8

Paul writes a powerful message throughout Chapter 5. In this verse, he reminds us of the depth of God’s love and the length he goes to show it. It asks believers to reflect on the example of Christs sacrifice and embrace the grace that is offered. It tells us that His love is not dependent on our past actions or righteousness, but that He reaches out to us even in our brokenness and sinfulness.  Not dying for just believers, but for the ungodly, criminals, or those that maybe did not deserve it.

Christ sacrificed himself even when we were still sinners.  It shows his unconditional love and grace for us.
