Lent is a time when we all as followers of Christ are encouraged to respond to the call Jesus has given us to turn from our own ways and to turn back to him. We do this through giving up the things that take our focus from Jesus, and entering into spiritual disciplines like reading God’s word, praying intently for His guidance, and allowing the words of Christ to mold and shape us. Throughout this season, we will share a passage and a reflection given by our Lay Leader, Steve Cummings.
